Very cute spot with lots of random things to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ended up leaving with way more items than I thought I would and was very happy about it. I highly recommend trying out some of the candles, as they smell great and are long lasting. My favorite was from Almonte Studio & Paige’s Candle Co(:

The Brass Owl is the best! I am from out of state but have loved following the Brass Owl online. They are so innovative in their pop-ups, intentional in their stock, and engaging with their online and local communities. When I finally got to visit in person I was in heaven! Such cute clothes, gifts, accessories - you can tell the staff loves their store and place in the community. I hope this small business can make it through yet another “unprecedented” time!

The Brass Owl is the best! I do all of my Christmas and birthday shopping for all the women (and some of the men) in my life here! The staff is so kind and helpful! They also have a great Christmas ornament selection in December. Best shop in Astoria for buying something special!

I moved to Astoria three years ago, and this store quickly became my absolute favorite! It’s my go-to spot for gifts. every single one feels special and meaningful because everything is local, unique, and so thoughtfully chosen. Whenever I need something (or just want to treat myself), this is the first place I run to. I’m honestly obsessed with everything they carry—the vibe, the selection, the care that goes into it all. It’s such a gem for our neighborhood!

I love to treat myself by going to this shop! They have the cutest items like pretty soaps, interesting snacks like matcha popcorn, and various pop culture items like Jesus candles but with Sabrina Carpenter on them. I wish I could buy everything in the store. Their staff is always very pleasant as well. You'll love walking into the Brass Owl!

This store is one of the jewels of Astoria. The first time I went there I fell in love with a mug, prices were accesible and after that, the brass owl became one of my must stops when I am looking to treat myself or for a gift. I love when they bring tarot reading in a comfortable environment and they are always bringing new merch and creating amazing content. Staff is kind, place is cute so if you are looking for a something special for yourself or a friend, this is the store.
